PCC Kids

Growing faith one fun moment at a time

Welcome!

We love serving families, whether they are new to PCC or have been around for years. In PCC KIDS, children will learn that God loves and accepts them through meaningful worship, exciting Bible lessons, and silly games and activities. We have an awesome group of volunteers who are ready to serve and love your children.

"As Family We Go" is the cornerstone of all that we do at PCC. In PCC KIDS, we hope to create a family feel that's warm, safe, fun, and encouraging. Everyone has a place and a purpose. All are important and treasured by God. We provide a culture that's safe and relaxed.

We eat, play, learn, and share. As a family, we also focus on "going." We desire to share the Good News with our neighbors, friends, classmates, and families. We each have a responsibility in God's family to share that Good News with others.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What are the age ranges for children's ministry?

At PCC, we have three children's classrooms: Nursery (0–2 years old), Preschool (3 years old–kindergarten), and Elementary (1st–5th grade).

  • How do I check my child in?

Stop at the PCC KIDS Check-in counter at the entrance of our hallway. One of our awesome volunteers would be happy to help you get your child checked in and show them to their classroom.

  • What if my child is crying and won't settle down?

We don't want your child upset any more than you do. If your child is inconsolable, we will send you a text to come to your child's classroom.

  • How do I know my child will be safe?

Safety is priority. We have a security team whose main job is to make sure your child is safe. There will always be someone in our PCC KIDS hallway during service to ensure that no unauthorized person enters a classroom without permission. Also, all of our PCC KIDS volunteers have taken and passed a background check.

  • What if my child has allergies?

No problem! Make note of any allergies when signing in your child and those allergies will be printed on his/her name tag. The teachers and helpers will then know of any allergies of your child.

Lives are being transformed at Piqua Christian Church. Here’s what people are saying:

“Our family absolutely loves the kids' ministry at PCC! With three kids spread across different age groups, it’s been such a blessing to see how the ministry tailors each classroom to engage kids in ways that are meaningful for their specific stages of growth. From the youngest to the oldest, each of our children is thriving in an environment designed to help them learn about God in a way they can understand and enjoy. Every week, our kids are excited to go to church, and they come home eager to share what they’ve learned—whether it’s a Bible story, or a fun activity that reinforced God’s love for them. The impact of PCC Kids has been immeasurable, and we’re so thankful to be part of a church that invests so deeply in the next generation!"

“The reason I love serving in PCC Kids is because I want to be the person a mom or dad trusts to leave their kid with. When my kids were in the nursery I didn’t always have that so I wouldn’t leave my kids (and keep them in church with me) or I would worry the whole time they were away from me. Parents need a break and I want to make them feel comfortable enough to leave them. Also. I love holding and playing with babies!”
